- 11 strawberries, hulled if you like
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 Tbs shortening

1. Choose strawberries that will fit in an ice cube tray.

2. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave. Stir until smooth.
3. Fill each ice cube tray slot about 2/3 full with melted chocolate. Place a strawberry in each slot.

4. Chill tray in refrigerator for at least one hour until chocolate is set.
5. To remove strawberries from tray, twist tray until the cubes pop out. Alternately, use a butter knife to loosen side of cube until it slides out of tray.
